Can I sell my things on The Reoutfitter Shop?

As part of our mission to drive sustainable shopping habits at the start, we only sell on consignment for clients who have opted for our styling services.

The secondhand market is a band-aid solution to how we currently shop. The Reoutfitter wants to heal the wound instead of adding more band-aids. Our styling clients who have gone through the Closet or Full Reoutfit have been given tips and advice on how to wear and re-wear existing pieces and how to "shop better." The items to sell are truly those that don’t add any value in their wardrobe, after our full assessment. Our mission is to reduce overall global consumption of clothing, and we believe in stopping it at the source.

Why won't you allow selling to be open to the public?

The secondhand market is a band-aid solution to how we currently shop. The Reoutfitter wants to heal the wound instead of adding more band-aids.

We don't believe that buying clothes and reselling your pieces is sustainable unless you make changes to how you shop thereafter.

With our help, our styling clients have been given tips and advice on how to wear and re-wear existing pieces and how to "shop better." 

Their items we take for sale are truly those that don’t add any value in their wardrobe, after our full assessment. Our mission is to reduce overall global consumption of clothing, and we believe in stopping it at the source.

We're big fans of Style Tribute, One Soul Many Stories, Second Other, which all accept consignments to the public and based locally in Singapore!

Additionally, we encourage those with excess clothes to join The Fashion Pulpit which offers swapping memberships so you can always have something fresh in rotation, sustainably.

Can I try pieces on?

Yes, absolutely! Please visit our showroom located in River Valley, Singapore for you to try pieces on.

Appointments must be made as we will not accept walk-ins. Make your appointment here.

Where are your pieces sourced from?

The majority of items are from The Reoutfitter's styling clients: those who opt for Closet Reoutfits or Full Reoutfits have the option to sell their items (agreed upon the client and The Reoutfitter). 

The rest are specially curated pieces found by The Reoutfitter on the secondhand market. Items are chosen based on brand, size, quality, and fit into the overall assortment.

How do I place an order?

Add your items to the cart and checkout.

Where does your order ship from?

We ship to over 30+ countries globally, from our home in Singapore.

When will my order arrive?

Singapore Shipping: delivered within 3-7 business days

Rest of the world: delivered average of 7-14 business days please refer to estimated times by third party shippers at checkout

Do you allow returns?

We want you to love your purchases from us. If you are unsatisfied with an item that you have purchased, we offer refunds or store credits on all full-priced items purchased via our online store, minus the shipping fee. 

We accept return requests within 7 days of the order delivery date.

Returned items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, with the original tags.

We do not accept returns on: SALE ITEMS & ALL ACCESSORIES (this includes but is not limited to: handbags, jewelry, shoes, scarves, belts, hats anything outside of a apparel item)

Sale items are indicated on your invoice at the time of purchase.

Can I pick up my order from your showroom?

Due to the high volume of orders going out with multiple carriers, we don't allow pickups for the safety of your item. For urgent requests please email us at shop@thereoutfitter.com

Sizing

We carry brands from all over the world. Due to this, our size range can vary. We're here to help!

What do the multiple sizes on each item mean?

Due to the wide range of brands we carry, there isn't a consistent numerical size for each brand. A brand based in the United States will typically use different numerical systems vs. those in the UK or Australia.

Where possible, we list the size conversions into the product. So an item that is a UK brand will be shown with the US and EU conversions:

Ex. UK 8 / US 4 / EU 36 / S

Also, as stylists we are very much aware that what can be listed on a label isn't necessarily indicative of how the garment actually fits!

To solve this, in each product description, we also enter information whether the product fits true to size or not.

Lastly, we use an international scale vs those seen commonly in Singapore. This can mean that an Medium size internationally may be a Large locally. If you are confused, please refer to our size chart or send us an email anytime for specific dimensions on a product!

Can you send dimensions?

Why is there only 1 size of each item?

As a preloved reseller, we only have 1 unique piece of each item. Don't worry, we're always sourcing great pieces in a range of sizes so please check back often.

What size am I?

Please refer to our chart below. Please note, we group our sizes based more on US / UK / Australian sizing vs. Asian.
